The Suffield Historical Society will meet on Wednesday, November 20 at 7 p.m., back at the Kent Memorial Library, after five years at the Senior Center. Siblings Jim, Abby, Ben and Tom Fuller, whose father Sam was President of the Library Board of Trustees in the early 70s, will speak about the beginnings of the new library building designed by Warren Platner.

The Fuller family will share previously unpublished letters from Platner, photographs from the construction period, as well as great stories regarding Sam Fuller’s relationship with this famous mid-century American designer and the project itself. The public is invited to join members for an interesting saga of how our library was built.
