A Matter of Balance
Do you have concerns about falling? The Suffield Senior Center and the CT Healthy Living Collective will be running A Matter of Balance class!
Many older adults experience concerns about falling and restrict their activities. A Matter of Balance is an award-winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. The focus of this program is on learning that falls are controllable, making changes to reduce the risk of falling, and setting goals to increase physical activity. A gentle exercise program starts in week 3 and continues through week 8. This session will be held on Thursdays from 1–3 p.m. March 12–April 30.
Spots are limited so sign up early. The first class will include an overview of the entire program. You can then determine if it is right for you to continue. RSVP deadline is March 6.
