Troop 66 from West Suffield has had a great fall and winter. We had a canoe campout where we paddled down the Delaware River, a video game lock-in where we stayed up late and played videogames, and a Thanksgiving campout where we cooked a Thanksgiving feast for our families. Our most recent outing was to a local Boy Scout camp called Camp Mattatuck, where we stayed in a cabin.

Some of our upcoming events include: a second video game lock-in, the Klondike Derby (a winter scouting competition), and a camping trip to Washington, D.C. Our troop was featured in the November 2019 Boys’ Life magazine with two pages of pictures and quotes. These pictures were taken during our 2018 Thanksgiving campout. Boys’ Life is the official youth publication of the Boy Scouts of America.
