A Moment in Time: Old Photos Invited from Our Readers

Photo provided by the Suffield Historical Society

The moment in time when this picture was taken was the summer of 1907. It looks like one of those house portraits taken by the Howes Brothers, but it lacks the family typically posed by the house, and it was on a post card, not a larger print mounted on cardboard. All we know is that it was in West Suffield. Can anyone help the Society find this house now? That big elm is probably gone, and perhaps also the porches, which must have been added to this old, two-chimney Georgian house when the bay window and scalloped shingle band across the gable were added.
