We are certainly living through unprecedented times right now. Social distancing, wearing face masks, and so on.

We want to let you know we are here for you. If you just need someone to talk to, call us. We are preparing Grab & Go meals daily. The lunch menu is put out a week in advance and can be emailed to you or it can be found on the Senior Center’s page of the Town website: www.suffieldct.gov. Billing for meals is every six weeks. We are also transporting to non-emergency medical appointments, picking up and delivering prescriptions, and delivering meals to those that do not have transportation or cannot walk to the Senior Center.

We think about each and every one of you every day and look forward to when we can get back together! The Governor’s recommendation at this point is that those 65 or older or those with an underlying condition to stay home. Please reach out to us if you need anything, and we will do our best to help.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer AARP Tax Assistance, so if you haven’t done so already, please find an alternative to have your taxes done.

Those that need to take the AARP Smart Driver class can now do so online. It is being offered with a 25% discount through Dec 31, 2020. This online course would be especially helpful for those who need to renew the discount on their car insurance. Website: www.aarpdriversafety.org

Promo code for 25% discount: DRIVINGSKILLS Good through: December 31

Stay healthy & stay safe—we will get through this together!
