The tractor driver looks back to see that the spring hay crop in Elzear Roy’s field on Mountain Road is being properly baled. Earlier in the day, the crop had been raked into rows. The bailer machine can suck up the hay, pack the bales, tie the twine, and fling each bale into the trailer, but this driver occasionally stopped to organize the bales into neat piles.
