This voter drop box is located at Ffyler Place next to the door of the temporary Town offices there. It’s pictured soon after the August primary. This is the place to drop your absentee ballot for the November election, if you chose not to use the U.S. mail.

Due to COVID-19 all Connecticut registered voters have the choice of voting via absentee ballot or in person at the polling place on Election Day. Voters who were registered to vote in town as of August 26 were mailed absentee ballot applications. Absentee ballot applications may also be downloaded online or picked up at 61 Ffyler Place.

If you choose to vote by absentee ballot, please either drop your ballot off in the drop box at 61 Ffyler Place or mail it in at least two weeks before the election.

How do I know if my absentee ballot has been received by the town clerk? Online you may check to see if your ballot has been received by your town clerk by visiting the Voter Registration Lookup page https://portaldir.ct.gov/sots/LookUp.aspx Fill in the required information, click “Search” and a note will appear on the bottom of the page stating that your ballot has been received, if it has.
