The 350th Anniversary fireworks display was held on Saturday evening, October 10, during the country’s pandemic environment, so the 350th Committee chose to launch from a location that would allow a large region of good viewing without gathering a crowd. The infield at McAlister/Middle School track was chosen and the launch crew used larger shells so the burst elevation would be higher. With a greater density of bursts, this was truly a great fireworks display.
The photos were taken from two locations: in the Old Center Cemetery and behind McAlister Intermediate School.
