Local Business Adds Solar Array

A substantial solar array, pictured last fall, was completed last year by Designs for Health behind their distribution warehouse on South Street, across from the new brew-pub. With 450 solar modules almost filling the building’s rear yard, it is rated at 150 kilowatts, making it the third largest array in town, after the two-megawatt Lodestar facility off North Street and the 600-kilowatt array Suffield Academy built last year. No one else comes close.
