Springtime at the Library

Print More

Warmer weather is a welcome change after the dreary and isolating winter, and Kent Memorial Library staff couldn’t be happier than seeing our patrons browsing our collection, using our computers, and picking up kits and crafts to take home.

The Library continues to be a hub for programming for all ages. Teens can join any of our on-going programs like Kahoot! Trivia, Digital Escape Rooms, Tinkercrate Club, Teen Library Council, or join our new Dungeons & Dragons Club.

Keep up with your reading goals by participating in the KML 2021 Reading Challenge. April’s theme is Historical Fiction. Just read a book that fits that theme and you have a chance to win some spectacular raffle prizes.

In addition to these and plenty of on-going programming, Kent Memorial Library introduces a new series called “Books & Beyond” featuring various authors, their stories, book discussions, reader’s advisory and so much more. Find out why the library is so much more than just books!

Last, but not least, the Kent Memorial Library’s website may look very different the next time you see it! We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes building up a new streamlined appearance to match with our partners across other municipal departments. We hope you’ll find it easy to use — maybe even fun! — and of course if you would like us to give you a tour, please do not hesitate to reach out to us for assistance.

Please continue to contact to us by phone – 860-668-3896, email – ref@suffield-library.org, and through social media on Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube. For up to date information, please visit our website at suffield-library.org — which should still take you to our new page when it launches! Keep your eyes out!
