2020 Grammy winner for best bluegrass album, Michael Cleveland and his band Flamekeeper will be playing for us! Michael has been voted best fiddle player of the year by the International Bluegrass Music Association 12 times since 2001.
Kevin Prater will be coming back to Hilltop for this event! Having celebrated 40 years in the bluegrass business, Kevin is a master of the banjo, mandolin, bass and guitar. This is his 13th year as leader of The Kevin Prater Band, touring throughout the USA and Canada.
Formed in 2013, Rock Hearts brings together five veteran musicians from Southern New England who love to sing and pick bluegrass and old country tunes, and eek ut newer tunes from other genres to “bluegrass-ify.”
Rounding out the lineup, The Ruta Beggars infuse traditional bluegrass and early swing to create a timeless act filled with intricate yet smooth vocal harmonies, fiery instrumentals and plenty of fun. They have been praised for their creative yet tasteful arrangements and charming performances.
