The answer to the second question re: MacDougall/Walker in April’s Suffield Trivia was confusing to some readers. The trivia answer was correct. Walker opened in 1992 as an individual prison, and MacDougall opened in 1993 as a separate prison nearby – two neighboring separate prisons, as in the group in Enfield and Somers. According to the Connecticut State Department of Corrections MacDougall-Walker “came into being on May 15, 2001” when the two were combined.
