A composite mural reading “READ” is exhibited in the big Main Street window of Kent Memorial Library . . .

You may have noticed the beautiful “READ!” murals adorning the Kent Memorial Library windows!

They was created by Brownie Troop 10956 as a part of the requirements to earn their painting badge.

Troop 66  has been meeting virtually since late fall, so they were each given a posterboard to decorate at home. It is clear that the Brownies took great pride in their creations. The library staff was excited about the partnership and kindly agreed to display the project.

We think you’ll agree that the final result is a great addition to the center of our town!

. . . and in the window over the new entrance facing east, as well. Photo provided by the author
