Save the date—Suffield’s end-of-summer tradition will be here before you know it. Under the assumption that we will be able to comply with state regulations, Suffield on the Green and Craft Fair is proceeding forward. The signature event hosted by the Friends of Suffield will once again take over the Town Greens on September 11-12, 2021.

Suffield on the Green & Craft Fair continues its 50-year tradition of showcasing community groups. Local non-profit organizations like the Scouts, churches, child care centers and school groups display what they do. Businesses may introduce themselves to the community at Suffield on the Green, although they cannot sell anything. Political groups from town will be on-hand to share information and conversation. There are even local crafters selling hand-made, original crafts such as jewelry, art, photography, honey, doll clothing, people clothing and accessories, and a host of other unique items. It is a fun filled event that focuses on people connecting with old friends and the community.

The maps for Suffield on the Green & Craft Fair are up on our website, friendsofsuffield.org. These maps show the locations of all those already accepted to the event and which spots are still free for reserving. Have you applied to the event yet? We look forward to seeing you in September.

As always, the two-day event takes place the weekend after Labor Day, on the Town Greens—at the intersection of Main Street (Rt. 75) and Mountain Road (Rt. 168). More information to come in future issues of this paper. If you have any immediate questions, please feel free to contact Becky Tobiasz at friendsofsuffield@gmail.com.
