Suffield’s Farmers Market begins its 2021 summer season on Saturday, June 19.

Many of our vendors have been bringing their “wares” to the green every summer for years, and the community has come to depend on being able to buy local and enjoy the comradery of the Saturday morning market to choose from a wide assortment of locally grown fresh fruits, produce and hand crafted products. Some of our returning vendors are Cupola Hollow, Merry Mite Wild Gardens, Easy Pickins, Simpaug Farms, Bielonko Farms, Lefchek Farm, Mosher Farm, Stoecker Farm, Things by Jeannie, Kate Evans, Julie the Garden Fairy and the Suffield 350th Committee. New this year are Abiding Acres, Halladay Farm and Tending Home Bakery. The Library will be “popping up” periodically with activities and library items as will some nonprofits. We are still finalizing the details and talking to other vendors as well.

Details and weekly updates will be provided about any changes on our facebook page, www.facebook.com/suffieldfarmersmarket

Come join this weekly community event where you can buy seasonal products such as plants, shrubs, vegetables, meats, floral bouquets, honey, farm fresh eggs, fruits, berries, herbs, vegetable plants, garden art, jams, jelly, pickles, fudge, baked goods, hand crafted soaps and homemade items.

The Market is held rain or shine (severe weather may cause a cancelation) every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon on the southern Town Green conveniently located in the center of town. The Market will run through October 2.

Most of the farms in the Market participate in the WIC coupon program, and some of our vendors are now SNAP certified as well for your convenience.
