First Church is excited to be open again for in-person worship every Sunday morning at 10 a.m. All are welcome! At this time, we do request that everyone attending worship wear a mask and properly socially distance from one another when seating. Our Worship services are still available online on our YouTube page. Our services will be live streamed every Sunday at 10 a.m. and available any time after for your convenience.

Our Blessing Box has been utilized quite often since its installment. It is located in front of First Church on High St. Built by Suffield Eagle Scout Jacob Carroll, the Blessing Box is open to our neighbors and community members to “take what you need; leave what you can.” The box contains items that can be of use to those in need. We encourage our community to donate what they can to the Blessing Box. Nonperishable food items, personal hygiene items, pet supplies, diapers and other baby supplies and home cleaning supplies are all popular and needed items. Help us to keep the box stocked and support those in need.

Our Second Mile Offering will be in support of Church World Services school kits. School kits give children in impoverished schools, refugee camps, or other difficult settings some of the basic tools for learning. We will be collecting donations to purchase the supplies needed to build kits. Head to our website online giving page and consider donating to our Second Mile Offering to support this wonderful mission.

First Church is excited to welcome our local support groups back to their “home” in our building for their meetings. We ask that anyone entering First Church wear a mask. The following Support groups are available at First Church: The Phoenix Group AA, every weekday from 12 p.m.-1 p.m., upstairs Conference room (enter through front door). Tuesday Night Men’s AA- every Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall (entrance around back). Families Anonymous group, every Tuesday at 7 p.m., upstairs conference Room (enter through front door).
