Suffield Farmers Market Workshops

The Suffield Farmers Market is back this summer and will be running every Saturday this summer until October 2. There will be the vendors you have come to rely on as well as new vendors.

Thanks to the sponsorship of Prides Corner Farms, there will be three workshops this season. The first one in July will be about the various varieties of hydrangea and their care. August’s workshop will cover edible landscapes for wildlife and September will be about fall planting and preparing the garden for winter. Thanks to our new business member, Prides Corner Farms, for their generosity and sharing their expertise with us.

Details and weekly updates for the Market and notices or changes will be provided on our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/suffieldfarmersmarket

Come join us for this weekly community event where you can buy seasonal products such as plants, shrubs, vegetables, meats, floral bouquets, honey, farm fresh eggs, fruits, berries, herbs, vegetable plants, garden art, jams, jelly, pickles, fudge, baked goods, hand crafted soaps and homemade items.

The Market is held rain or shine (severe weather may cause a cancellation) every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the southern Town Green conveniently located in the center of town.

Most of the farms in the market participate in the WIC coupon program and some of our vendors are now SNAP certified as well for your convenience.
