Kent Memorial Library thrived this summer as our reading programs, contests and events brought in a record number of participants in many areas.

More than 300 adults registered for Tails & Tales, submitted raffle tickets to win one of 21 raffle baskets and checked out 2,119 physical books

Grandparents, nannies, parents and older siblings brought in young readers to spend afternoons cuddled in chairs and browsing bookshelves. The children’s department signed up 246 kids and 148 teens for summer reading and circulated 5,814 items!
