The Suffield Arts Council announces that an art show featuring work by “Artists At The Crossroads,” a group comprised of award-winning members from Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut, will be on display in the Pinney Gallery during the month of September.
The group, founded in 2011, currently consists of 11 members, who meet monthly in members’ homes. Membership is limited and is by invitation only.
Many members are affiliated with other art organizations and routinely participate in local, regional, and national art exhibits, where they have enjoyed considerable success, including several First Place and Best In Show awards.
Their talent will be evident to viewers in a wide range of diverse subjects rendered in a variety of media, including watercolor, pastel, oils, acrylics, pen and ink, pencil, graphite, and including letterpress originals and vintage-restored reproductions.
There is no reception scheduled, but Opening Night will be Thursday, September 2 from 5-7 p.m.This show is made possible through the efforts of the Suffield Arts Council, the “Artists At The Crossroads,” and the Kent Memorial Library staff. It is open to the public.
