Holiday Wreath Workshop at Phelps-Hatheway

Please join the staff and friends of the Phelps-Hatheway House for a festive welcome to the holiday season on Sunday, November 14 from 1-3 p.m. Debora Reynolds of Old Hill Gardens will be doing a holiday wreath workshop.

Inspired by the natural landscape and annual foraging trips to a friend’s woodland, Debora’s coveted handmade wreaths are simple and timeless. Beginning with a recycled or natural base, Debora will guide us through the age-old process of creating an evergreen wreath. In these workshops, you will learn the traditional bundle and tying mechanics, tips on layering decorative greens, dried seed pods and how to add a lush ribbon as a finishing touch. Included will be information on hanging your creation and preserving your base for a future design. All materials will be supplied (except ribbon). Please gather with us for a very special holiday afternoon with Debora in our historic setting. $55 per wreath, $45 CTL Members.
