The Suffield Landfill will be open for extended hours this fall on six consecutive Sundays for leaf disposal only. No other items will be accepted during that time.
The Sunday hours will be from noon to 4 p.m. The special leaf dates will be October 17, October 24, October 31, November 7, November 14 and November 21.
Note that leaves are also accepted throughout the year during the landfill’s regular hours on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
