Suffield Greater Together Community Fund Advisory Committee is now accepting applications for committee members. The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving has established a Greater Together Community Fund for the Town of Suffield. Over $13,000 was distributed to four non-profit organizations in support of our Suffield community during its inaugural grant-making process in 2021. The next funding round is planned for the fall of 2022. We need your help!
The purpose of the Greater Together Community Funds is to support the Suffield community in taking ownership around the needs in their town and offers the greatest benefit to town residents; to encourage broad and inclusive civic engagement; and to anchor the Hartford Foundation in each town.
The Suffield Advisory Committee is looking forward to welcoming new members. To be eligible, you must be a resident of Suffield, at least 14 years of age and not a current elected official of Suffield. Previous experience in community organizations or in grant-making is not needed. Individuals who have not previously participated in community organizations are welcome and encouraged to apply.
