The Suffield Arts Council is proud to present a fantastic display of photographs by Bill Ferro, a Springfield resident, formerly of New York City. Introduced at an early age to photography by his uncle, Bill dabbled in the field for many years while traveling the country.

Since moving to Western Massachusetts many years ago, Bill has been photographing the coast from Maine to Florida.

The Pinney Gallery of Suffield’s Kent Memorial Library will feature many examples of his portfolio, which includes vivid images of seascapes, wildlife, florals, and landscapes.  More recently Bill traveled to Alaska to photograph the extraordinary glaciers, mountains and wildlife.

Excited by the capabilities of new technology, Bill entered the digital field, and produces his photos on gallery wrapped stretched canvas, and metal plates. His work has enjoyed much public acclaim in shows throughout the area, most recently in the Southwick Cultural Council’s Annual Juried Show, Blandford Fair,  and several shows as a member of the Scantic Art Club.

The show, entitled “Expressions In Light”, runs from March 1 through March 31.

This exhibit is made possible through the joint efforts of Mr. Ferro, the Suffield Arts Council, and the staff of the Kent Memorial Library. The Library is located at 50 N. Main Street, in Suffield, CT.
