We all want to be as healthy as we can, and we know how difficult it is to establish a routine to meet our fitness goals. What if there was a place that offered enough classes and options to accomplish those goals? Hits & Kicks-Total Body Fitness is such a place.

On May 1, Hits and Kicks will be expanding to include Total Body Fitness. It will be located at 11 High Street, Suite 105. Their mission statement is as follows: “Hits & Kicks-Total Body Fitness’ mission is to inspire and motivate members to achieve on-going results, improve their overall health and fitness levels in a healthy and welcoming environment. We are passionate, committed, and we will engage our members on all levels to assist them on their journey. We offer a variety of strength, cardio, boxing, and toning classes available at a variety of times throughout the day. We can provide something for everyone!”

The two women who will be helping members reach their goals are Stephanie Dolan and Donna Calabrese.

Stephanie has been involved in fitness since 1986 with the L.P. Wilson Community Center in Windsor, Conn. She worked as a group exercise instructor and personal trainer in both private and corporate settings, including Travelers, Cigna, United Health Care and Mass Mutual. She is certified with AFAA (Aerobic and Fitness Association of America). As a group exercise and personal trainer, her favorite classes are BeachBody, Les Mills and Vallari’s Kickboxing. Being a mother of three, she knows how difficult it is to find time for yourself (even a half hour). Her favorite fitness quote is “The best project you will ever work on, is yourself.”

Donna earned her blackbelt in 2002 and found her passion in teaching. She began assisting her Sensi teaching with classes at the Karate Studio. She went on to teach in both private and corporate settings including United Technologies Corporate Fitness Program. In 2016 she started her own business, Hits & Kicks, teaching fitness boxing and kickboxing. She is certified with the following organizations: Beachbody, National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Personal Trainer, American Sports & Fitness Association (AFSA), Self-Defense Instructor, R.A.D System, Rape, Aggression, Defense Instructor, Boxing Fitness Institute, Fitness Boxing Instructor. She trained with Conn’s Israel Pito Cardona, a Conn Boxing Hall of Fame inductee. She has been coaching individuals with Parkinson’s Disease (Rock Steady Boxing-RSB), becoming an affiliate of the program in 2019.

Donna is excited to rebrand her business from Hits & Kicks to include Total Body Fitness. She and her new business partner, Stephanie, will be able to incorporate more classes, times and options to help anyone achieve their personal goals. Class packages are also available.

Come join them, sign up for a free class of your choice, and take that first step. If you have any questions, you can contact Stephanie or Donna at TOTALBODYFITNESS@GMAIL.COM or call (Stephanie) 860-930-0008 or (Donna) 869-739-8614.

Watch for the Open House date in June at the studio, which will include a raffle for a free month of membership. Information can also be found on their FACEBOOK and INSTAGRAM page @TOTALBODYFITNESS.SUFFIELDCT. Stephanie and Donna look forward to helping you meet your health and fitness goals.
