Andiamo in Italia! translated means, “We are going to Italy!” Troops 260 and 262 recently announced they are planning an epic trip to Italy in the summer of 2023. The voyage will be the first transatlantic trip for the organization. The Scouts will be hiking and ziplining in the Dolmite mountains, hiking in Cinque Terre, climbing Mount Vesuvius, exploring Rome and Pompeii, kayaking in Naples and so much more!
This exhilarating adventure will be open to all Scout families. This once in a lifetime trip will allow Scouts to explore landscapes they have never seen like volcanoes and ancient ruins, new cultures and new culinary treats.
In addition to expanding the Scout’s horizons, they will learn responsibility and the importance of goal setting as they plan fundraising efforts for this big travel adventure. Over the course of the next year the Scouts will work collectively and individually to meet their fundraising goals.
