“It’s always a pleasure meeting with student groups at the Capitol and sharing an inside look at their government,” shared Rep. Tami Zawistowski. “Agriculture Day recognizes the important role of farming in Connecticut, and I’m proud to serve communities that celebrate that agricultural heritage.”

After a hiatus during the pandemic, the annual “Ag Day” hosted by the State Department of Agriculture returned, bringing together farmers, Vo-Ag students, interest groups and legislators to celebrate Connecticut agriculture.

The Suffield Agriscience program recently hosted a successful Ag Expo at their facility at Suffield High School.
