Suffield is known for being a town of farms. Our summer and fall growing seasons offer a great variety of farm fresh locally grown products. To showcase our farms and help consumers explore what they have to offer, the Economic Development Commission is offering a guide in the form of a “Suffield Town of Farms Passport”. The passport will list many of the farms in town that have farm stands or stores open to the public where you can have your passport stamped when you make a purchase from them. It will also list farms that sell their products at the Farmers Market on Saturday mornings from nine to noon on the south green. Once you have completed at least fifteen stamps on your card, you can enter a drawing to win a $20 gift card for one of the market vendors. Drawings will be held every two weeks throughout the season. This is a great opportunity to visit and support Suffield farms by purchasing their fresh produce and farm products right here in town.

The Farmers Market runs from June 18 through October 1. You can pick up your free passport at one of the following locations: The Farmers Market, Town Clerk’s office or the Planning and Zoning Department in the Town Hall at 83 Mountain Road.
