The Suffield Summer Fair banner greets visitors to the event.

It’s been a long time since the town has had the opportunity to meet, greet and have fun together. The weekend of the Town Fair provided that in spades! Thanks to the organization of the event by Parks and Rec Director Peter Leclerc, Assistant to the First Selectman Kris Lambert and First Selectman Colin Moll, the weekend was a great success.

Friday evening’s attendance was over 7,000 people. Rides were very popular, and the fireworks that night were spectacular. The weekend featured music from 13 different bands over the three days, plenty of food choices, rides to thrill and enjoy, booths that provided information on town groups as well as crafts and face painting and a display of vintage tractors. Approximately 75 volunteers also helped make this weekend work
