Sugar-Crusted Rhubarb Squares Recipe

3 ¾ C, sifted flour
1 ½ tsp. baking soda
2 ¼ C. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 C. cooking oil
1 ½ C. sour milk
1 ½ tsp. vanilla
2 ¼ C. finely diced fresh rhubarb
¼ C. chopped walnuts
¼ C. sugar
1 ¼ Tbsp. melted butter
¼ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. salt


Sift together flour, baking soda and salt into bowl. Mix in brown sugar. Combine eggs, oil, sour mild and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients, blending pan.

Combine sugar, butter and cinnamon, mix well. Sprinkle over batter. Bake in 325 degree oven, 55 minutes or until done.
