John Kehoe, a retired City of Hartford forester and arborist, has an infectious enthusiasm for all things trees. Join the Trees for Suffield Initiative for this fun and informative nature adventure in Sunrise Park. Under John’s guidance you will learn how to identify trees by using clues from leaves, bark, flowers, seed/nuts, growth habit, even taste or smell. Bring along your camera and see if you can also capture a winning image for the Trees for Suffield photo contest.
The Tree Walk will take place at Sunrise Park on Saturday October 1 from 10 to noon. Sign up to attend on the Town website under “Things to Do/Trees for Suffield.”
