Interested in agriculture? If so, join Suffield High School’s Agriscience Program for their First Look Open House on November 3 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. We are seeking all 8th grade students interested in learning more about the program from staff, current students and their families.

This year, the committee chairs of Suffield Agriscience’s Chapter Recruitment Committee, 12th grade student Madelyn Bouchard and 10th grade student Wyatt Nadeau, are planning and organizing our open house with other students. Tours, discussions and a Q&A session will be carried out during the night to help provide insight to interested students and families as to what programs Suffield offers.

Suffield Agriscience accepts students from the towns of Avon, Canton, East Granby, East Windsor, Enfield, Granby, Hartford, Hartland, Simsbury, Suffield and Windsor Locks. The program offers great opportunities to gain leadership while learning about the various fields of animal science, plant science, mechanics, aquaculture, agricultural biotechnology and sustainable agriculture. The application deadline for the Agriscience program is December 8, and we are eager to welcome the next generation of students who apply to the program.
