In our December/January article on page 2, “Names Added to the Veterans Memorial,” there are corrections as follows:
The names of Frederick Fitch and John Toomey were added to the memorial as serving during the Korean War. Frederick Fitch is alive and well, and we sincerely regret reporting otherwise.
There were no stars added to the memorial in recent years.
In the article on “Suffield Observes Veterans Day” (p.4) there are two corrections:
Colin Moll served four years in the Army and another reference to Frederick Fitch’s death is incorrect.
