KML Tech Time –  Every Wednesday from 1-3 p.m.
Do you want help with your laptop, smartphone, or tablet? Don’t let technology frustration hold you back – come to KML Tech Time! Whether you need help troubleshooting an issue, setting up a new device, or downloading eBooks and eAudiobooks, we’ve got you covered! No registration required. First come, first served.

Fiber Friendly – Wednesdays, May 3, 17, and 31 at 4 p.m.
Are you someone who likes to knit, crochet, embroider or engage in any other fiber-related interests? Join us on alternate Wednesdays for conversation, camaraderie and fiber artistry. Bring a project you’re working on or start something new! No registration required. Open to all ages, People under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Backyard Chickens – Saturday, May 6 at 2 p.m.
Learn what it takes to raise chickens in your backyard – from getting your backyard ready to caring for your chickens to handling and storing the eggs. Funded by the Friends of KML

Rise to the Challenge Book Group – Monday, May 8 at 6:30 p.m.
Join us in reading and discussing books that have been challenged and/or banned. April’s discussion will focus on Melissa by Alex Gino. Copies of the book are available at the library. Registration is encouraged.

Books and Beyond – Thursday, May 18 at 7 p.m. via Zoom
Join us for a book discussion with Sejal Badani, author of The Storyteller’s Secret, an epic story of the unrelenting force of love, the power of healing, and the invincible desire to dream. Registration is required.

Kid Programs

Spring Open Crafts Day – Saturday, May 6 from 10:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.
We will have an assortment of spring crafts for kids ages 3 – 10. No registration necessary. Funded by the Friends of KML

Rhyme Time – Fridays, May 5, 12, and 19 at 10:30 a.m.
Recommended Ages 0-5
Bring your singing voice! We sing, dance, blow bubbles — and have fun! No registration required.

Lego Club – Monday, May 15 at 3:30 p.m.
Recommended Ages 4+. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
Join us for Lego Club! Participate in our building theme of the month.or construct whatever you can dream up. No registration required. Funded by the Friends of KML

Drawing Ocean Cartoons with Rick Stromoski – Tuesday, May 23 at 4 p.m.
Ages 6-13
Award-winning cartoonist Rick Stromoski will teach you how to draw ocean creatures like whales, sharks, octopuses, dolphins, and seahorses! Registration is required.
