A collection of fine art paintings, masterfully rendered in oils or pastels, will grace the gallery walls at the Kent Memorial Library in Suffield during the month of May. The featured artist is Ashley Hyatt, a Suffield resident.
The show will feature a vibrant, colorful display of landscapes with many depicting people in action.
A former public school educator, Ashley finds inspiration for her art through personal observation, especially through her travels in the outdoors. She offers children’s art lessons from her home. More information about her art, commissions, and lessons, may be found on her website, stonybrookstudios.com. Prints of her work may be found in several local shops including Feather and Bloom, Karenoughcrafts and Work_Space Manchester.
The show opens May 1, and remains through May 31. A “Meet The Artist” reception is slated for Thursday, May 11 from 6 – 8 p.m.. The public is invited. Refreshments will be served.
This show is made possible by the artist, the Suffield Arts Council and the Kent memorial Library staff.
