Many of you participated in last season’s Suffield Town of Farms Passport (300 were distributed) that was sponsored by the Suffield Economic Development Commission and created by Kathy Dunai, Kacy Colston and Ellie Binns. We were gratified by the positive feedback we received and are planning to do the program again this season. Even more exciting is that the passport received recognition on the State level for Agricultural Journalism Excellence. Ellie and Kathy and First Selectman Colin Moll represented Suffield at the award ceremony at the State Capitol on Ag Day on March 22. It was great visiting with other people involved in Connecticut Agriculture which is such an important business in the State and in the Town of Suffield. After lots of conversations, we came back inspired for the season ahead!
