Rain or Shine, Summer Fair Delights the Crowd

The fireworks were spectacular!

The forecast for the weekend of this year’s summer fair wasn’t so great, but that didn’t seem to keep the crowds away for long. This year’s fair was set up primarily on the parking lot between McAlister Intermediate and Suffield Middle Schools. There were plenty of food choices and the standard carnival rides which obviously appealed to many of the younger fairgoers. There were pony rides this year as well as a beer and wine garden tucked away behind McAlister. Several town organizations set up booths and many vendors had items for sale. The rain stayed away so Friday evening’s spectacular fireworks went off as planned.

The Ferris wheel is always a popular ride at the fair.
