The Suffield Rotary Club is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2023 scholarships.
These students represent the Rotary International motto of “Service above Self”.
Vincent Nguyen received the Dr. Stafford scholarship. Vincent will attend the University of Connecticut and study Computer Science. He plans to become a software engineer.
Timothy Galica received the Ralph “Nick” Michelson scholarship. Timothy plans to attend Worcester Polytechnic Institute and study Computer Science and Robotics Engineering, with a career in cybersecurity.
The Founders of Suffield Rotary scholarship was awarded to Willow Burt. Willow is attending UMASS Amherst and plans a career in nursing.
Ella Kollmorgan received the Vocational Field scholarship. Ella will study Engineering at Virginia Tech. Her goal is to work in an underserved country to advance its infrastructure.
The Warren Packard scholarship was awarded to Ash Richardson-White. Ash plans to attend Hampshire College and study International Relations and Environmental Science.
The Elaine O’Brien scholarship was awarded to Cecilia Partain. Cecilia will attend the University of North Carolina at Asheville majoring in Environmental studies and plans a career in Environmental field research.
