On September 21, Erica Boucher was recognized by the Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas at an awards banquet held at the Water’s Edge Conference Center Westbrook , Conn. Erica has completed four years of mandatory classes which were challenging especially during COVID. These classes offer the student an in-depth view of vital records, election laws, land records, FOI laws, record management, state fees and other duties in this ever-changing world. She passed the State mandated certification exam to attain her Connecticut Certified Town Clerk (CCTC) title. Erica now joins her coworkers Michele Urch and Kathy Dunai who hold this certification as well in the town clerks Office.
Erica has been employed as an assistant Town Clerk since 2020. She resides in Suffield with her husband Mike and three children.
