Celebrating Arbor Day is what the students in the 4th grade at McAlister School will do on April 26 this year.
It has been a tradition since 1965 that the Suffield Garden Club has sponsored a program on or about Arbor Day wherein each 4th grade student is given a tree to plant in their yard.
Once again the Bartlett Tree Experts of Simsbury, CT., will generously provide trees for this program. Our tree of choice this year is the Red Splendor Crab Apple tree.
The members of the Suffield Garden Club look forward to providing this program every year for the students at McAlister School.
