The Suffield Arts Council will play host to the Tobacco Valley Artists Association spring member show in April. This always popular event features the work of more than 50 artists, in a variety of media, with a wide range of subject matter.
TVAA is comprised of over 100 members from cities and towns in western Mass. and northern Conn. Founded in 1947, the group holds monthly meetings in the Longmeadow Senior Center.
Members in the show compete for awards and recognition through their entries in Watercolor, Oils, Acrylics, and Mixed Media. There are ribbons for First, Second, and Third Place, and a “Best in Show” award.
The show opens April 1st, and will remain until April 30th. Awards will be presented at a Reception, on Thursday evening, April 11th, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. This event is open to the public.
Made possible thanks to members of the Tobacco Valley Artists Association, the Suffield Arts Council, and the Kent Memorial Library staff.
