An adventurous quote from one of the most adventurous people I have ever met. Whether it was competing in a road race, joining the Navy, or a simple trip to the gas station back in Suffield, Conn., there wasn’t one moment that Dustin didn’t turn it into a crazy memorable experience. The mindset made him so unique, and loved by every person that crossed his path.
The support that we have as a community should continue to grow and hopefully inspire others of all ages to set goals, whether they are big or small…and to never give up, to never stop, and to keep pedaling in this race of live. ~Annette Doyon
Where: 350 Mountain Road, Suffield, Conn., Suffield Middle School.
When: 5K run/walk starts at 9:55 a.m., 10K run starts at 9:50 a.m.
Cost: Registration for the 5K run and walk is $25. Registration for the 10K run is $30. T-shirts for the first 200 registrants are free.
Awards: 5K 1st place age brackets for both male and female: Up to 20 / 21-35 / 36-50 / 51-over.
10K 1st place age brackets for both male and female: Up to 20 / 21-35 / 36-50 / 51-over.
All first-place winners receive $50 cash prize. 1st place overall male and female winners of 5K and 10K will receive an additional award.
Money raised will help sponsor the Dustin Doyon Memorial Scholarship Fund [a registered 501C3 nonprofit organization], for Suffield High School graduates.
