Everyone is invited to attend an afternoon of music as the Cetto Chamber Singers present their spring concert Let It Shine at 3 p.m., Saturday, June 1 at the Second Baptist Church, 100 N Main Street, Suffield with a reception to follow.
The program will include toe-tapping Broadway favorites such as Our Love is Here to Stay by the Gershwin brothers, ancient hymn Panis Angelicus, North Carolina folk song He’s Gone Away, and The Parting Glass, a traditional Scottish tune made popular by the Wailin’ Jennys, as well as other selections.

Founded by Lorri Cetto and Evelyne Battle, both retired music professionals, the group, which is based in Suffield, is celebrating its fifth year of joyful song.
“This concert is our opportunity to share our talents and love of music with the community. We are singers with heart,” says Lorri Cetto.
The Cetto Chamber Singers perform at several area venues annually. This is their final concert of the year before their performance tour of Ireland in June 2024.
