Ms. Kyle Candia-Bovi won the UCONN Early College Experience Instructor Award for Excellence in Course Instruction.

Kyle Candia-Bovi has been teaching the UCONN Early College Experience First Year Writing Course at Suffield High School for the last five years. The Excellence in Instruction Award is a respected professional achievement and a testament to Ms. Candia-Bovi’s dedication to Suffield students, Suffield High and the UConn Early College Experience Program.

With a community of over 1,800 UConn ECE Instructors, there is a very competitive nomination pool every year, and the review committee is challenged to identify the top candidates. Ms. Candia-Bovi stood out as a top teacher among this pool of candidates.

As a 2023-2024 UConn ECE Award Winner, Ms. Candia-Bovi will be recognized at UCONN’s annual Awards Ceremony and receive a personalized plaque, as well as a $250 monetary award.

The Awards Ceremony will take place on Thursday, April 25 from 4-6:30 p.m. at the Alumni House on the UConn Storrs Campus.

Congratulations to Ms. Candia-Bovi! She is an excellent professional who is a life-long learner passing on the passion for learning to her students.
