Suffield’s National Night Out Event will be held on Tuesday, August 6 between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. National Night Out is an annual community-building event that the Suffield Police Department hosts to promote police-community partnerships and to establish great relationships with neighbors in town. The Suffield PD will team up with the Suffield Fire Department, SVAA, Suffield DPW, Suffield community groups and other valuable partners in an effort to showcase resources and have some fun.
One of the goals is to make neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out is Suffield’s chance to enhance the relationship between citizens and law enforcement while working towards a true sense of community.
The event is usually held at the Suffield High School and the Suffield PD is finalizing the location in the near future. The event will have fun for the kids, displays of Suffield first responder equipment and other safety oriented attractions for everyone to enjoy.
