Congratulations Suffield on supporting the cell phone recycling project! Suffield has donated 79 pounds of used cell phones and handheld devices in the past nine months! We thank you for the generous donation of your old devices which will aid in the preservation of the animals of central Africa. (Example: one pound of recycling is equal to 4.5 cell phones.)
Thank you for bringing your old phones and handheld devices to one of the five drop off sites for battery recycling: Kent Memorial Library, the Senior Center, inside the front door of the Town Hall, the Suffield High School office and the lobby of Windsor Federal Bank.
The minerals from recycled batteries can be used over and over again. Battery recycling will become more and more important each year with the increase in demand for battery power. The planet and its inhabitants thank you for supporting this Suffield Interact and Rotary Club project.
