Suffield has enjoyed the company of six iconic statues this summer which will now be dispatched to another community to display and admire. But as we send the statues away, Suffield has several activities which remain, due to the Art Trail effort.
Our thanks go to the Levasseur family, Heather and her three children Dominic, Connor and Sam, who geocached available sites around the statues. These containers will remain to bring this scavenger hunt activity to Suffield for residents and visitors for years to come.
Self-guided walking tours of North Main, High and South Main Streets and a driving tour of Old Bridge District in East Suffield along the Connecticut River remain available. These Historic Walking Tours are located on the Town of Suffield website in the ‘Things To Do’ section. Here you will find full details of the architecture and original owner information about these beautiful historic areas. Many thanks to Jackie Hemond and Lester Smith for their contributions to these historic tours.
And heartfelt thanks to our sponsors and townspeople who donated to make this event possible.
