Let me introduce myself. My name is Pam Cocca, I am the Parks and Recreation Registration Administrative Assistant. I have been working for the Town of Suffield in this capacity since 2014. My primary job, which I feel is most rewarding, is to make sure the registration process runs smoothly for families here in Suffield. I recently came across an article titled “The Joy of Helping Others” which highlights the profound and rewarding experience one receives with assisting others while fostering a sense of community and connection. This article hits home as this is what I strive to achieve on a daily basis. I always look forward to and enjoy the interactions I have with each and every family while assisting in the registration process for our many Children and Adult Programs, Summer Camps, Fitness and Wellness Programs, Afterschool Programs, Community Programs, Youth Services Programs and Senior Citizen Programs and events.
With the hectic lives we lead, my goal is to make the registration process as seamless as possible. Whether it’s a phone call or an email asking for direction or help, I am here to ensure that everyone has a pleasant experience. The Parks and Recreation Department is here for the community, and I am honored to be a small part in contributing to and fostering a sense of well-being and enjoyment that as a department we aim to portray. I enjoy my job and I want everyone to know that I am always just a phone call or an email away from making your family’s experience complete.
