Venture Crew 261 took on their second camping adventure from January 10 to the 12, heading to North Troy, Vermont, one of the most northern towns in the state, to test their survival skills and teamwork. The Crew camped overnight with the temperature plunging to a frosty 18 degrees, relying on their -20 degree sleeping bags to stay warm in the biting cold.
Despite the challenging conditions, the Crew didn’t let the weather dampen their spirits. They worked together to prepare a hearty lunch and an even better dinner, all made in the great outdoors. The snowfall, which blanketed the area with two inches of fresh powder, added an extra layer of difficulty but also transformed the landscape into a winter wonderland.

Members of 261 helped each other to build a fire to stay warm in the frigid conditions.
The trip tested the group’s resilience as they navigated the snowy terrain, but their camaraderie and determination shone through.
This adventure not only reinforced their outdoor survival skills but also demonstrated the power of teamwork in overcoming obstacles.
Once again, Venture Crew 261 has proven that venturing is about embracing challenges and making the most of every adventure, no matter the weather.
