Thursday Readers Book Discussion Group, Thursday, March 27 at 1 p.m. – Get together on the last Thursday of the month with other readers to discuss a book. Books are available at the library. Registration is not required. The March title will be Peace Like a River by Leif Enger.

Whether you need help troubleshooting an issue, setting up a new device, or downloading eBooks and eAudiobooks, we’ve got you covered! No registration required. First come, first served.
Rise to the Challenge Book Discussion, Monday, March 10 at 6:30 p.m. – A book group for adults to read and discuss books that have been challenged and/or banned. Copies of the book will be available at the library. No registration required. Please be aware that this group discusses books which may include sensitive topics. The March title is Two Boys Kissing by David Levithan.
Fiber Friendly, Wednesdays, March 5, and 19 at 4 p.m. – Do you enjoy knitting, crocheting, embroidering, or engaging in other fiber-related interests? Bring a project you’re working on or start something new! Join us on alternate Wednesdays for conversation, camaraderie, and fiber artistry. No registration required; marble table seats 10. Open to all ages; people under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Learn to play Mah-jong, Thursdays March 20 & 27 and April 3 & 10 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Join us on Thursday mornings when a group of experienced Mahjong players will teach you to play the ancient game of Mahjong! Over this four-week course you will learn the game using National Mahjong rules. Game supplies will be provided. Ages 18 & up, registration is required.

Magical March Madness – Join us starting March 3 for a month-long event called Magical March Madness! We will feature eight heroes in a competition that will be driven by kids of all ages in a pick-your-path style adventure. We will be celebrating the genre of fantasy all month long with our competition, themed programming and raffle prizes.
Irish Dancing with SRL Irish Dance Academy, Saturday, March 1 at 10:30 a.m. – Celebrate Irish culture and heritage through traditional dance with Scoil Rince Luimni Irish Dance Academy and KML! While Irish dancing is done all year long, SRL Irish Dance Academy loves to share Irish dancing with the wider community throughout the month of March in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day! Registration is not required.
Fantasy Map Making, Tuesday March 4 at 4:00 p.m. – Open to grades 5-12. Join us for an afternoon of making fantasy inspired maps! Ideal for D&D campaigns and fantasy epics, we’ll make maps to help bring your creative vision to life. Registration is required, as supplies are limited.
Leprechaun Slime, Monday March 17 at 4:00 p.m. – Join us on St. Patty’s Day, roll up your sleeves and get busy making slime! We’ll have all the ingredients for fun. Open to grades K – 12. Registration is required.
Character Creation Workshop, Saturday March 22 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. – Join us for a super fun workshop to learn how to create your own fantasy character with Author/Artist Matt Ryan. Snacks will be provided, registration is required. Grades 3 and up.
Intro to D&D, Saturday March 22 at 1:30 p.m. –Have you ever wanted to learn how to play Dungeons and Dragons? Come to our intro workshop for beginners. All game supplies will be provided, open to teens and adults. Registration is required.
