The Sibbil Dwight Kent Chapter of the DAR welcomes anyone interested in starting their Genealogy adventure to a workshop on April 11 in partnership with the Suffield Library. The basics of researching your ancestors are easy if you start correctly. We plan to help you start on your journey. With resources at the library itself and volunteers to assist with genealogy research we will also use the expertise of other interested Suffield residents. If you are on your way or you are almost done, there will be people who can guide you.
Did you have a relative in the service and can’t find out where they served? As we continue our research on Saturday morning on April 25, we have a specialist who will take your information and help.
Bring all the information that you have on April 11 at 10 a.m. We will greet you in the Gallery and start the journey. There is internet access and all the library resources are available to you.
